Course: 57682 - Adding Watercolour to Pen & Ink

Information: Alert[[ 1. Your completed pen and ink project- must be on 140 lb Watercolour paper. 2. Watercolour Paint: whatever watercolour paint you have. I use Winsor Newton Artist grade. 3. Suggested colours include: Yellow – Indian Yellow or New Gamboge, Red- Alizarin Crimson or Cad Red, Blue- Ultramarine Blue or Cobalt, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna. 4. Optional - Sepia and/or Payne’s Grey. 5. Watercolour Pencils are also fine to use instead of paint. 6. Watercolour brushes- Whatever you have is fine Suggested sizes include round size # 2, 6, 8 and flat 1” and ½ “. 7. Watercolour palette with mixing area or White plastic plates for mixing paint. 8. Masking tape ¾ -1” wide. 9. Spare scrapes of watercolour paper for testing colour. 10. Smooth surface to work on large enough for you paper size such as Plexiglas, coroplast or a canvas board from the Dollar store works well. 11. Two water containers. 12.
