Information:
4 week painting course supplies
Canvas
Canvas will be needed for this class!
Any size works, but if you don’t know what to get, I recommend this 8 x 10 pack from Michaels! (We only need about 4, but the 8 pack is the same price. You can also purchase canvas from the Dollar store, they are almost as good.)

Brushes
You will need at least one large and one small synthetic paint brush for this class. You can even buy a set! As long as you have one small, medium, and large brush, you’re good.
Something like this would be perfect (note: I haven't bought this brand specifically but I recommend buying your brushes in store in person to get a good look at them before you buy! Good brushes do not have to break the bank but I recommend also avoiding the cheapest option, as the glue tends to not be great at holding the bristles from falling all over your painting as you work.)
Paint
You will need these acrylic paints for this class:
White
Black
Yellow
Blue
Red
Burnt or Raw Umber (either or)
I recommend HEAVY BODY acrylic paint, as it’s easier to layer. I recommend Sennelier or Liquitex heavy body acrylics from Michaels, however, if all you have is a different brand, as long as it’s acrylic, it works.
Water container
For rinsing your brushes. I recommend having 2, one for cleaning your brush, and one for rinsing, so the brushes stay cleaner longer.
Rags
For drying your brush/wiping paint off of your brush.
A palette
A palette is needed for holding your paints while in use and also for mixing your colours.
I recommend avoiding a palette that is too small!
It could be as simple as a paper plate. Here’s some options I recommend. There are pros and cons to both!

• Reusable/cleanable (takes time)

- Saves time by being disposable! (not very eco friendly)
Apron/smock
If you’re worried about getting paint on your clothes!
Looking forward to painting with you!
